New Hoover Police Substation
A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held Thursday, September 25 at M&F Bank on Valleydale Road for the new Hoover Police Department Substation located inside the bank. Shown Cutting the Ribbon is Hoover Police Chief Nick Derzis as Mayor Tony Petelos holds the bow. Looking on to the left of Mayor Petelos is branch manager Starr Largin, and City Councilman Gene Smith, Police Captain Kip Cole (behind and between Petelos and Derzis), and to the right of Chief Derzis is M&F Bank President Randy Fields, with Police Captain Ken York. 13th Annual Golf Tournament Results
Shown l-r, overall winners, Cook’s Pest Control Team Robby Cole, Golf Committee Chair Dan Ellis, and Mark Barron won the 13th Annual Hoover Area Chamber Golf Tournament with a team score of 62. Both are members are Riverchase Country Club where the tournament was held, and both are scratch golfers or better. ......More>>
